The house is warm and original with all its eclectic items, chinés over the years. We like to receive and travel, that is why we wanted to open our house and share it with “our fellow travelers”.
The ” Villa de la Pièce d’Eau des Suisses ” enjoys an exceptional location: facing the Orangerie of the Chateau de Versailles and the “cent marches”, just in front of the Pièce d’Eau des Suisses and its park with hundred-year-old trees.
The house is sunny and comfortable, and has kept the charm and atmosphere of a family home. Here, you are close to the shops and restaurants of the rue de Satory, the Saint-Louis Cathedral dedicated to perfume: you are in the heart of the historical neighborhood of Versailles!
Versailles is well served by three train stations (Gare Rive Gauche, Gare des Chantiers, Gare rive Droite) close to our house, allowing you to get to Paris in 20 minutes. By car, it’s extremely easy to access to motorways without wasting time in traffic.

Our two dachshunds, Haendel & Hendrix, and Goya & Munch, our Labadoodles, are very affectionate. They will welcome you at your arrival and every morning (they only live on the ground floor).
Fred, the cat, is the only one to be allowed to walk through the house, but he is forbidden to enter in your room.

A very French breakfast home-made : consisted of an assortment of breads, made by Hugo, croissants and similar products, home-made jams, tea, coffee or hot chocolate, fresh fruit juice and yogurts made by Léon. Served on week days between 7.30am and 8.30am and on weekends between 8am and 9.30am, on the first floor in the dining room, or in the garden according to the weather.
Our garden is a peaceful haven, blessed with the same soil as the nearby Royal kitchen garden.
We grow cherries, apples, pears, figs, kiwi, strawberries, raspberries, currants, rhubarb and herbs. We loves trees and flowers : roses, hydrangeas, geraniums, tulips, lilac, wisterias, boxwood..
This is not a garden designed by Le Nôtre but is a place to unwind and enjoy nature after long walks in Versailles.
Deck chairs are waiting for you, to dream of past (Louis XIV) magic in this very special town.
Breakfast and picnic in the garden
Breakfast is offered for each person each night, it is served on week days between 7.30am and 8.30am and on weekends between 8am and 9.30am.
Please order your picnic a day ahead 10€ each person.
We will be happy to welcome you and help you discover Versailles. Having you with us is a real blessing, we love to share the beauty of this extraordinary city, and the atmosphere of a family life. Our four grown-up children, can give you some advice according to your wishes, like book a restaurant, call a taxis and share their good addresses in Versailles.
I love painting and you will discover my paintings and taste for decoration, the rest of the family likes sports: Hugo can talk for hours about judo,tennis, golf, ski, montain bike race… Louise practicing bikram yoga and wakeboard, Blanche riding horses, Jules practice boxing, and Léon plays rugby and monocycle…

Véronique and Caroline our turtles await you in the garden for breakfast if the weather permits, for a picnic that you can book the day before.
Your room is located on the second floor of the house, as well as its bathroom with a large shower and double vanity units, linen and amenities, hair dryer and straightener / flat iron. It is very calm and bright, double exposure with a fantastic view over the “Pièce d’Eau des Suisses”, ” l’Orangerie” on the West side, and the “Cathédrale Saint-Louis”on the Est.
The bed and breakfast is comfortable and spacious. You have an office space with an unlimited internet and WIFI access, and a convertible sofa (for a child under 12 years old).
A dispose baby crib,and we also propose babysitting services. The King size of 180x200 can be divided into two single beds of 90 X 200.
A library and boardgames are at your disposal.
You are a couple with a child under 12, you can book your room, Louise’s room.
If you are more numerous, with family or friends, you can rent the two rooms, that of Louise and that of Leon, adjoining the Louise’s room, with their shared bathroom.

We are happy to welcome you to our family home.
As you know this is not a hotel!
Arrivals are from 5 pm to 8pm
The room must be vacated before 11am
The keys are handed to you upon arrival in exchange for a piece of identification that will be returned to you upon departure.
The room, the house and the garden are non smoking.
Eating or drinking wine in the rooms is strictly forbidden.
If you want to have a drink or snack, we put a place at your disposal; Dining room – garden – sitting room
Cleaning in the rooms is daily.
Please make sure that you enter or leave the door of the house by double turn.
Turn off the lights in your room as well as those in the staircase when you go out or come back at night.
Our friends pets are not allowed.
Goya, Munch, Handel and Hendrix should not put a paw in the room 🙂

Map & Access
We are 20 minutes away from the railroad station named “Gare des Chantiers“ to Paris Montparnasse, and 15 minutes away from “Gare Rive Droite” for gare Saint-Lazare (les grands magasins).
10 minutes away for ”Gare Rive Gauche” (RER C) that reaches Paris centre (in about 20 minutes) and it will lead you to the other stations, like the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, the Musée d’Orsay…
The highway is 5 minutes away by car if you want to visit Monet’s Garden in Giverny, the Museum of Américain Art impressionists (it takes 45 minutes by car).
